Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or services do not intend to gather data on website visitors that are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission of their parents or legal guardians. We can however not check whether a visitor is younger than 16 years of age. We therefor advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children to prevent that personal data of children are gathered without parental permission. With what purpose and on what grounds we process personal data
Layher B.V./N.V. processes your personal data on the following grounds:

• In order to be able to call or email you, should this be necessary in providing you with our services
• To inform you of changes in our services or products
• In order to be able to deliver our products or services
• Layher B.V./N.V. also processes personal data when we are legally obliged to do so, for example data that we need for our tax return.
Automated decision-making
Layher B.V./N.V. dos not take decisions on matters with (serious) consequences for individuals, based on automated processes. This concerns decisions taken by computer programs or -systems without a human being (for example a Layher B.V. N.V. employee) being involved.
How long do we store personal data
Layher B.V./N.V. stores your personal data not longer than required in order to realise the purposes for which the data is gathered. We use the following storage periods for the following (groups) of personal data: Name and Surname, Gender, Address details, Telephone number, E-mail address, for the duration of 20 years, in accordance with the economic lifetime of our products.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Layher B.V./N.V. does not sell your personal data to any third parties and only provides the data in case this is necessary for the execution of our agreement or to meet our legal obligations. With companies that process your data on our account, we make agreements to guarantee the same level of security and confidentiality of your personal data. Layher B.V./N.V. remains responsible for the third party data processing on our account.
Cookies, or comparable technologies that we use
Layher B.V./N.V. only uses technical and functional cookies and analytical cookies that do not violate your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that at the first visit to our website is stored on your computer, tablet of smartphone. De cookies that we use are required for the technical operation of the website and for your ease of use. They make sure the website functions properly and for example remember your preferred settings. In this way, we can also optimise our website. You can sign out for cookies by setting you browser in such a way that it will no longer store cookies. Additionally, you can also delete any information previously stored via the settings of your browser.
View change or delete personal data
You have the right to view, change or delete your personal data. You have the right to withdraw your permission for the data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Layher B.V./N.V. and you have the right to transfer the personal data. This means you can ask us to send your personal data we have stored, in a computer file to you or any other organisation you would like us to send the data to. You can send a request for viewing, changing, removing or transferring of your personal data or a request for withdrawal of you permission or objection to the processing of your personal data to mail@layher.nl. In order to be sure that the request for viewing the data is done by you, we will ask for a copy of your identity card. Blacken, on this copy, your picture, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of your passport), passport number and personally identity number. This is for protection of your privacy. We will react as soon as possible but at least within 4 weeks of you request.
